Hello all.
So this is my first time at using arduino and such and i'm trying to create simple car robot. However, for some reason my Arduino board is not detected by my laptop. The PORT button is also greyed out, and the laptop does not detect anything being connected when i plug in my Arduino. Also, all onboard LED turned on as soon as i plug it in. RX, TX, L, and ON glowed red and never blinked/turned off when its connected. Also loopback test doesnt work since it cant even open the serial monitor. Also the L LED dims when i touch the bottom of pin 13.
It may have been because of my faulty shield. My shield had a 7805 regulator that used regulated the 12V battery for my arduino to use and power everything else, and i connected the output of the 7805 to VIN. When i connected my battery to my shield, everything worked fine, the 5V pin from the arduino even powered my HC05 finely. However the 7805 got so hot that it peeled off my PCB etching for the VCC trace. So it may have been because of that.
Is there anyway to fix the board?
Attached is my board. Also my OS is Windows 10 64 Bit
