When using the Arduino Uno R4 with the Adafruit 1.8" TFT Shield with Micro SD Card storage, you need to solder on the supplied 6 pin SPI Connector that comes with the shield otherwise the SPI Communications doesn't work for the TFT Screen and to the SD Card.
