Hello,
i'm working on a similar project, for me it will be a wireless car kit.
I have looked a little to your pictures, and i have some comments:
for the module to boott at power on, you should connect the PWR EN and 3.3 V pins. with them permanetly connected, you will have the module running at power on
keep in mind that Arduino UNO UART is 5V and RN 52 module is 3.3V, so this is not compatible, you need to use a step down regulator, like this one: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12009. i've used the same one and works.
take a look ant the baud rate, by default RN 52 is 115200 kbps, so if you're trying to use the comunication over UART (like me) you should make your sketch according.
when communicating over UART, you shoud put GPIO 9 low.
for the moment i see no other issues, i attach you my simple sketch using an Trinket 3.3V and rn52 as a audio module. when pushing one button next track is playing. if you need extra help, do not hesitate.
Were you able to establish communication between Arduino Uno and RN52. If you could, can you please provide few details about the Arduino code and RN52 configuration. I am working on a similar project but unable to control RN52 using Arduino.
Cocacolacoke,
I have made the connections according to the three points in your comment (baud rate, 5V to 3.3V conversion and connecting PWR EN). Could you please help me understand the following?
-How is RN52 configured in your project?
-When RN52 is powered On I see both the green and red LEDs flashing. Can you communicate with Arduino in this state? Could you please provide more details about this?
