Arduino Uno running 150 ws2812 led s

Hi
I am working on a project where a arduino uno board is controlling 150 ws2812 led,s in a seriel connection powered by a 5v power supply cabable of deliver 5A. The problem is that when I upload my sketch it doesn`t work, lamps flickering and blinking. When I run the sketch code on a test breadbord everything s fine. Could this be caused by loss of power along the led s or that I need a powersupply delivering more amps

150 x 60mA (full white) = 9A.
You also need to connect the 5v to several places along the string of LEDs, at a minimum the beginning, middle, and end.

Could this be caused by loss of power along the led s or that I need a powersupply delivering more amps

It could but is probably not. I have run 240 LEDs with "only" a 5A power supply. Mind you I didn't have all the LEDs on full white at any time.

Have you used a series resistor on the data line?
Do you have a common ground, that is the ground of your 5A power supply to the ground of your Arduino?
Have you got a large capacitor like 1000uF across your power supply?
