Arduino Uno+SD Shield+XBee Digi

-Arduino Uno
-Wireless SD Shield
-XBee - Digi International - model XBee2. Modem type = XB24-ZB
-470uf Capacitor

I am trying to make the XBee discover my network.

  1. I have connected the Capacitor to XBee pin 10 and pin 1.
  2. updloaded an epmty sketch to Arduino:

  1. Run X-CTU and upgraded XBee firmware.

What do I do next? When trying to run Arduino sketches to discover my network I get a message “Shield not present”. For instance:

What do I do next? When trying to run Arduino sketches to discover my network I get a message "Shield not present". For instance:

Not surprising, since the library expects you to have an official WiFi shield.

The XBee you list is [u]not[/u] a WiFi device.
