Arduino Uno unable to connect to IDE 1.8.13

Hello,

For some reason I am unable to connect my Arduino Uno to my MacBook through IDE 1.8.13. The only serial port options I see are /dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port and /dev/cu.URT0 and when connecting to either one I'm unable to run any programmes and when I click on "Get Board info", I get the error message "Native serial port, can't obtain info".

Thing is that I've used the same board on another MacBook a few months back on a presumably older version of IDE so I really don't think it is something to do with the board but rather something to do with the software. Also I've connected the Arduino through a USB-c hub so not sure if that is causing any issues either although my older laptop also required use of the hub. Quite lost on this so any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Also here's a screenshot of the IDE when I try to select a port

Solved, apparently my USB C Hub connecting to the MacBook was the issue. Lesson learn - never skimp out on a good USB C Hub.
