Arduino UNO USB Host Shield

Hello All,

I decided to buy an Arduino USB host shield for UNO, but i have some questions about that.
Has anyone experience with the cheap copies from e-bay like this:

Are they work properly?

My other question is that, what will i should do to make a computer mice work with arduino?
I want to read data from the mice. I found that, there is a library for the USB host shield in which functioins for mices included too.
Do i have to make any configurations or something else with the shield to be able to read data from the device?
