Arduino Uno wifi rev2 combatibility with Wave shield

Hi! I am building a tutoring system for birds and need to use the wave shield. when I used it with arduino Uno, it worked perfectly, but when I switched to Uno wifi rev2, keeping the code constant, it wouldnt run. Any thoughts/suggestions? I will also post pictures if reqd

I have never used the Uno WiFi, but I would bet that the Wave Shield I/O is conflicting with the WiFi I/O.
