Arduino Uno with Motor Shield

I'm interested in using an Arduino Uno with the Arduino Motor shield in order to power this stepper motor http://www.newark.com/sanyo-denki-sanmotion/103h5205-5240/stepper-motor/dp/34R9658
Is this feasible? If not what should I use?
Maybe this one?

I really just need any sort of combination of things that will work together i'm trying to use it to turn a micrometer and I tried doing it with the company's suggested driver and with a pansonic PLC and i've run into nothing but trouble.
Plz help

I got the SEEED v2 with the arduino uno. I would not necessarily advise buying that though, even though it works. The company that makes it does not do a very good job at providing demos and instructions. I think you can use a plain old arduino shield that matches the uno.
