Arduino Uno won't connect to pc

Hello guys!

Arduino: 1.8.5 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Uno"

Sketch uses 928 bytes (2%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.
avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "\.\COM4": The semaphore timeout period has expired.

I just bought the arduino uno and I can't upload. I have selected the right arduino model but when I try to select the port I can't. Despite my changing the usb to 3 different ports it always reads com4 in the IDE and I can't change it. I accesed the device manager but I couldn't find the arduino connected not even listed as an unknown device. Here I should add that connecting the arduino to my pc doesn't make any sound ( I don't know if that is really relevant ) but the arduino works fine with the green button staying on and the other one blinking every 1 sec.

Following some guides online I managed to add the port option in the device manager (that I didn't have ) and select arduino there. Now is shows arduino uno (com6) but with a little yellow warning sign. I then tried updating the driver. Doing so automatically windows says I have the latest driver and when I try to do it manually I get and error code 10...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I surely can't be 100% sure but it looks like an original. The site was legit and listed it as an original and I have it in front of me right now and it has the arduino logo (I don't know if that is a good way to determine it's authenticity).

I warn you the site is in greek. The arduino looks genuine to me to be honest it has the logo in the front and in the back.

Man I just plugged it in without doing anything and I heard the sound and it is actaully connected right now! One of my random driven installations must have worked!

Thanks a lot for you time and effort! Problem solved!

Ohhh I was too fast to close the topic... I just disconnected the board added some cables to try to blink a led then reconnected and I have the same problem as before. I really don't understand...
