Hi. I just bought an Arduino UNO board and I'm having trouble uploading code. Its giving an error avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x30.
I am using Windows, specifically Vista.
I looked under Ports (COM & LPT) and I didn't see an open port named "Arduino UNO (COMxx)." I noticed under USB Devices, the device was coming up 'Unknown Device' and I can't find ArduinoUNO.inf file under the Drivers folder.
Also, when I applied power to the board, I noticed the load (L) led was blinking, I don't know if that is a problem.
I have a project to do and the deadline is approaching. Can someone please help!
