Arduino USBasp Atmega8A usb port problem

Hi guys,
I've recently bought USBasp and Atmega8A. I've tried to program it, but Arduino editor says something like "Selected serial port doesn't exist or your board isn't connected" (I'm on Polish version and I don't know what exactly would the error read in other languages).

I've added Atmega8 (not Atmega8A) link from Arduino playground to board manager, set up all parameters:
Board: Atmega8
BOD: 2.7v
Clock: 8MHz internal
Compiler LTO: enabled
Port: COM1
Programmer: USBasp

I'm on win10, my USBasp has libusbK driver from zadig. My schematic looks like this: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

I'd really appreciate your help, guys. I don't think that I could go any futher in learning this stuff without uC's.

Enable verbose uploads and post the output, there isn't any serial port involved when using a USBAsp so your paraphrasing of the error message doesn't make sense.

Here it is. I don't know if it's what you wanted, though :stuck_out_tongue:

file.txt (2.48 KB)

Bad connection? Wires not connected the way you say they are?

Thanks. The last (I hope so) question: does it matter that I have Atmega8A and my editor has files for "normal" Atmega8?

Well, I assembled it again, and error message is still the same.
