I have a problem making my weather station at my school. So the questin is : Can a price from a sensor such as temperature or humidity sensors travel through a cable around 10 meters from the top of the building to the class or should I place the arduino in the roof and give power to it by a 10 meter cable from the class to the roof?Answer me please!
Maybe. It depends on the means by which you intend to transmit the data.
Placing the Arduino on the roof will work but it will be inconvenient to modify it's program.

I wanna use jumper wires for it.I am asking because the ardunio should be very protected if i place it on the roof.Nick
What protocol (look it up) are you going to use on your 'jumper wires'. Some typical choices include RS-232, RS485, I2C, SPI, one-wire, etc.
Don
10m long jumper wire?
Protocol matters. Digital or analog? You'll also have to supply power to whatever sensor you plan to use.
Environment, too. Long wires can pick up lots of interference. When bringing it to a rooftop lightning may be a concern.
