Arduino web editor & chromebooks Last posted in 2018
Is there a way to install the web editor on Chromebooks so that the sketches can be uploaded to an Arduino Uno. I'm using the Arduino Education kit that we purchased from Pitsco Education, Pittsburg KS and cannot seem to install (or even download) drivers to allow uploads from the Chromebook to the Arduino Uno board.
When in the online editor, the Arduino device box says "No Chrome connection. Uploading is disabled until you reconnect." [Install App]
Choosing to install leads me to an Arduino Create page with a dead link that says [Try Now] I have students who NEED to do their work on a Chromebook. Is there a solution to this seemingly old/ongoing problem?
Hey @gmugno I missed the previous conversations, I'm sorry. My previous answer it's not wrong but is off topic.
If you can't use the Chrome app published on the Chrome Web Store due to some domain restriction, you can install the Chrome App for Education version visiting Arduino Digital Store. It's the same app, it just have a different billing/licensing system.
