I have been enjoying using the Arduino Web Editor, it seemed to be the only way for my to actually configure a IDE to download to my MKR 1400. I have been working on an .ino sketch for the better part of a month, and came on the editor today to see the contents of my main .ino file emptied. I now have no idea what to do, I guess I will have to re-write the ino? how did this happen? what can I do? is there a history on the arduino web editor -- if not this is the last time I will be using it.
I raised your issue to the team behind CREATE.
However you should include details of why you are unable to use the regular desktop editor ?
The MKR1400 is fully supported in that IDE and you simply have to make sure you have included the CORE files for it using BOARD MANAGER.
Thanks for the quick response!
I was able to get the desktop editor working, I don't know why I choose the web editor when I started the project, but I don't know why it deleted all the content in the first tab on arduino CREATE. If I can supply any log files or anything let me know.
The sketch is at:
It ate mine too ![]()
There's another thread that says you must email support@arduino.cc and tell them what happened and the URL and they may get it back
