arduino wifi shield firmware upgrade (URGEND)

my name is jef and i am working on a project for school whit arduino
i have had a lot of problems and this one i don't know how to fix

so i wanted to use xivly to upload my data to
but it kept on returning -1 so i searched a little bit and they said i had to upgrade my firmware
i have been trying to do this for 2 days :wink: didn't get is at first

now i finaly found out how to do now it's trying to do the firmware upgrade to another port
com 1

so i tried to put it in difrend ports and opent device maneger to search for com 1
couldn't find it

is there anyone that knows how te change te port to com 3 ??

i have been reading the next page over and over again http://arduino.cc/en/Hacking/WiFiShieldFirmwareUpgrading

and searcht al over the web

it needs to be finished wednesday
please help mee
