arduino wifi shield

Anyone knows where I can buy wifi shield for arduino ? why there is no much info about it (everyone has wifi at home, right?) ?

thanks.

Not too many wifi shields for arduino out there. The Lantronix-based solution I saw somewhere was too expensive to consider. But there are the following solutions you could look into: - wifly (serial to wifi board) from sparkfun; - hack a fonera (to make it a wifi client) and connect it to arduino on serial; - use an ethernet shield + wifi adapter (even dlink);

if size isnt too much of an issue then an ethernet shield and a wifi bridge (search for gaming wifi bridge, argos stock them under this) with an ethernet cable inbetween , of course you would have to set up the bridge with a computer first
