The given schematic and board files don't get opened in any of PCB design software such as Eagle or altium. Please help.

They open just fine in EAGLE Version 6.1.0 for Mac OS X, Light Edition.

You could get EAGLE:

I don't know if anyone has produced an Altium version. You may have to do that yourself.
