Arduino Wifi

Hello Everyone,

New around here. I'm planning on working on a wireless sensor project and was wondering if Arduino has some sort of microcontroller board with Wifi(802.11x) capability built in. Something similar to the Arduino BT (Bluetooth) but for WiFi. I know I can interface an Arduino Uno with some sort of Wifi board but it would definitely help make the project easier if I focused most of my time on interfacing the sensor with the microcontroller and writing the software to interface with the wifi sensor. Thanks in advance.

You can buy a "WiFi BlackWidow" which is roughly similar to the Arduino BT except WiFi instead of Bluetooth.

An alternative is to use the WiFi Shield ($55) on any Arduino.

Thanks for the info!
