Arduino Windows rendering issues

Hi,

I'm using version 1.5.8 of the Arduino software on Windows 7 64bit. The problem I am having is that the window seems be redrawing itself completely wrong and it becomes unusable. I see sections of the window rendered multiple times in different places, menus being covered up, everything is just really buggy.

Here is a screenshot after simply dragging the window. It becomes much worse if I attempt to use the menus or scrollbar.

I imagine Arduino runs in a JVM and it appears to include the necessary JRE libraries. Is this likely to be an issue with Java, possibly a conflicting libraries causing these rendering issues?

It also happens in version 1.0.6.
Reinstalled both Arduino and Java with the same results.
Compatibility mode and turning off aero also the same.
Video card is gtx 670 with the latest drivers.

Any suggestions as to what is going wrong?

Sorry I just found the problem and thought I'd post the solution here. The problems were caused by RivaTuner software, I guess because of the overlay it adds to windows for some reason. Closing it completely fixes the problem.
