I'm searching for a cheap 915 MHz Rx that can easily interface to an Arduino and receive data from this weather station: http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/1612ch/index.php
My project is based off of the work these guys did here: practicalarduino.com
I cant seem to find a receiver that i know will work. I've done many searches for Rxs and i can find one modem on Sparkfun for $90.00 but thats out of my price range and i think its more than what i'm after. heres the link: Modem Long Range 915MHz: LN96 - Includes Antenna and Cable - WRL-00559 - SparkFun Electronics
This will be my 2nd arduino project and first time ever doing anything with wireless communication. So i could use as many tips and suggestions as possible and I'd also like a suggestion on which Arduino i should buy.
