I am quite new to electronics and recently i've been playing with an Arduino UNO. I am trying to connect a Philips 423244 10-Watt 60-Watt to the Arduino. Can anyone roughly explain to me what additional equipments do i need and how the block diagram should be? Do i need a LED driver/transistor for the dimming to work?

You need a matching LED driver with a PWM input.
What's the voltage requirement for that light? Got a spec?

Did you mean "current"?

10 W LED light bulb reference diagram;-
This is not Philips diagram which I do not know, and it is better not. Philips LED Bulb better use Philips/NXP chipset.

No pwm dim support
Right...it's not a "LED" at all, it's a complete "bulb" with built in current regulator circuit.
PWM isn't going to work (could even damage it).
The only way to dim it with an Arduino would be a digital variac (or a normal light dimmer moved by a servo motor...)
Two types LED bulb;
-
- Standard, use diagram I list above which IC is working as 80~230 V AC. The Bulb still has 110/220 V version since Cx voltage.
-
- Dimmable, working fine with variac.
I've been trying to use with this.
