You used to be able to, but nobody did. So, they've been relegated to the what-used-to-be department.
If you felt the need for an obsolete, next-to-useless, out of date thingy, go to the thrift shops. However, you really needed one, I guess you can use the TX and RX pins and with a bit of tinkering make it serial, but that might require fooling with the bootloader, so...

eBay is a good place to start.
I have purchased from this eBay store previously with good results: http://stores.ebay.com/AVRMEGASHOP They sell RS-232 Arduino compatible boards.
There are some caveats: not compatible with Arduino shields, no 3.3v capability.
