In first place i have ever had an arduino and my knowledge of electronics is very basic, so my question is perhaps a bit "silly."
I have the main circuit of a printer that has basically the source of power, the usb connection to the computer, the power button and link to two electric motors, which in my opinion (with my very- basic definition of arduino) has the same structure like an arduino.
Now I wonder if you can program the microprocessor board of this printer in some way in order to control motors or put them to make a sequence of moves .. (using the Arduino software, or firmware or reinstalling some low-level language in the microprocessor circuit ..)

PS to the printer was junk, just got even with the circuits.
