Arduino wont upload the sketch STK500

I have one of the same problems. Mine says:

Sketch uses 1136 bytes (3%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

What arduino? Do you have the right board selected? If it's a nano, have you tried the old bootloader option?

If it's an Uno WiFi Rev. 2, that is not the same as Uno WiFi. If it's a nano every/iot/33, that is not the same as a nano. For those boards, you need to install the appropriate board package via board manager.
