Arduino Yun no response on COM and no Network Connection

Hey guys,

So one fine morning my arduino yun that was working well suddenly stopped executing my program, I tried to reset the arduino Yun to make sure if its ok and I plug it out of my laptop and back in. The computer (64-Bit Windows) says my USB input is not recognized and I cannot connect to arduino yun using WiFi.

I noticed how my arduino YUN did not heat up as it usually does, the processor on the bottom. Usually the arduino gets hot even if it running on idle. If I try to hard factory reset by holding the WLAN button for more than 30 seconds then I don't get anything.

So I am assuming there is something wrong with the Linux processor.

Is there any solution to this unfortunate problem? I just need to open up one way of communicating with the arduino YUN then I can program a factory reset.

Thanks in advance.

Connect Ethernet cable:

Seeing Yun in IDE Port menu

Use well known good the USB port to power Yun.

The chip next to MicroSD reader: AU6359 - USB2.0 Hub and Card reader

If I plug the Yun into the ethernet port I get the yellow light on the YUN indicating that it is working and my computer recognizes it with no network connection.

and just to clarify, the AU6359 you showed me is the one that is not heating up as it usually does.

You need find out Arduino ip address:

Plan A. Using Bonjour Browser find Arduino IP address

Plan B. Using router web interface of dhcp client.

Mac Address as "90-A2-DA" is Arduino.
