Arduino yun web control page password

I installed the open wi to my arduino yun and connected to arduini yun wifi. When i opened the web control page it asked me for password i searched on web and found the password to be "arduino" but it is not working and after connecting it on wifi my serial port gets refused to open in putty. Please help at the earliest

What is "open wi"? What specifically did you install?

You say you connected to the Yun's WiFi - what was the WiFi network's name?

  • If it included the word "arduino" the default password should be "arduino" (it's a board or firmware put out be arduino.cc - this site)
  • If it included the word "Linino" the default password should be "doghunter" (it's a board by competing arduino.org, they split off about a year ago.)
  • If it was something else, then you some different firmware, and you need to contact wherever it was that you got the firmware to find out the password.

Its not thats "doghunter" password is it - took me a while to find out that the password was not arduino
