Arduino zero and "shutdown command invoked"

I have sketch that runs on the UNO. I upgraded to a ZERO. When I upload that sketch to the ZERO, it doesn't run. I have a lot of print statements that I should see, but I don't see anything. Here is the last bit of what I see in the (progress??) window at the bottom of the Arduino IDE (1.6.7)

am I supposed to see "shutdown command invoked"??

I am at a loss as to what to do. I read the Arduino Zero -- Getting Started....
