I have designed an mask alignment system. I'm using Arduino mega2560,nema17,a4988 driver, 4 relay.

I need to send the coordinates which I have calculated from MATLAB to the Arduino.

I need the code to control the stepper motors in x,y and theta direction..
Can any one help...

What does that data look like? What unit of measure is involved? Do you know how many steps it takes to move the carriage that far?

The code is the same for all 4 motors.

What is the role of the stepper motor?
What is the role of the 4 relays?

Please provide some examples of the data that will be sent from Matlab.
