arduinoisp

We have an arduinoisp. This one: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoISP

Now we have 2 problems:

1st: We had to upgrade our pc's to Windows 10 and now we don't have a driver for it.

2nd: The device is now retired. But what is the alternative? We use the arduino IDE for selfmade devices based on the Atmega328P chip. How can we put a bootloader in it?

If I were you I would download the drivers from the product page. I haven't used them with Windows 10 so I can't guarantee they'll work with it.

You could use one of the dozen or so ISP programmers that the Arduino IDE works with. a USBAsp can be gotten very cheaply and works well.

You can also upload the Arduino ISP sketch to a 328p-based board, and use the Arduino as ISP programmer.

As is typical with arduino, their naming of things is confusing - ArduinoISP hardware device is very different from an arduino running the ArduinoISP sketch, for which you select ArduinoAsISP programmer. What do you expect from the people who sell a due and a duemillanove, and who have 4 mutually incompatible "nano" boards?

I recommend USBAsp, personally, but lots of people are happy with ArduinoAsISP
