Hello,
This is my first post on this forum.
I am doing an arduino based project. The task is to identify the path taken by a bus and then be able to sms the nxt person to be picked.
Well so far i have bought an arduino uno and a IComSat v 1.0 sim900 shield.
Till the GPS shield arrives i would like to use the uno and sim900 to make calls and send sms's is it possible.
And if it is then what sketch should i use.

Also i would like to know what is baud rate cause i couldnt understand when my prof told me.

Most people are into teaching because they want to share knowledge. If you don't understand something they say, speak up. Ask questions. At least, pretend to be interested.
