arduiono uno installation problem

Hi
I am trying to install my new arduino uno and i am having a problem.

I have download the 1.0.6 ide and connected my arduino.
I did every step in the Getting Started with Arduino on Windows and I have got stack in stage number 4 in the middle:

"Finally, navigate to and select the driver file named "arduino.inf", located in the "Drivers" folder of the Arduino Software download (not the "FTDI USB Drivers" sub-directory)".

the problem is this:After i have click update driver software i choose browse and i navigate to the arduino file but i cant find the arduino.inf.
In my arduino file>>drivers>>i can only see FTDI USB drivers file and not arduino.inf

hope someone can help me
thank you very much

Which Uno do you have? Not all have the FT232.

i have the arduino uno,i dont know what uno do i have.
there are more than one uno types?
when i go throw my computer to the arduino file i can see the file arduino.inf, but when i try to update my driver i cant see the file.

Post a link to where you got it from, then we can check the USB to serial converter.

Well, the main title says it is an Uno R3, and it looks like an R3 clone so it probably is.

The R3 does not have an FTDI chip on it. You need to load the drivers from the IDE.

There is a guide here.

I have attached driver folder for you . chose below driver update option choose below driver folder.

Below zip file need to unzip in driver folder of arduino.

I am thimkning how to instal driver manually.

drivers.zip (1.19 MB)
