Am new to this form. I would like some help if anyone can give advice. I am using snap4arduino along with an arduino uno and a grove kit/shield. I have a Mq9 sensor for detection gas and I want an led light to turn on whenever there is gas present. It is basically a simple gas alarm.
I tried to get the light to come on when I exposed gas to the sensor but nothing happened. I cannot see where I am going wrong....I noticed that the sensor got very hot when i hooked it all up....and I read that temperature can affect performance but I do not know how to proceed.
I would appreciate any help/advice that good be given.
this is the first I have head about programming an Arduino (or anything) with snap
read how to use this forum and #7 about posting code.
then post your code.
also, make a simple hand schematic and post that.
read the data sheet on the expected temperature of the sensor.
they do use a lot of power, so heat might be expected.
