Are all versions of the ESP8266 3.3V?

Is there a 5V version of the ESP8266-01? I bought a device off ebay (actually it was sent to me by mistake instead of something else i ordered), I wasn't sure what it was, but after searching I found that it is the "ESP01 Programmer Adapter UART GPIO0 ESP-01". The pictures show the ESP8266 mounted directly on to it for programming purposes. I measured the voltage on all the pins of this device, and they are all 3.3V except the Tx and Rx which are 5V. As far as I understand the ESP8266 is 3.3V. Has someone used this before. There are no jumpers on it to switch from 5V to 3.3

Thanks

You probably need a logic level shifter 5v to 3.3v. Good luck!

Well What I know of it, is this is an extra IC used between your ESP8266 and your PC for serial communication (like programming). I don't see why you want to get 5 Volts out of it. But if you want to get 5 Volts out of it I have a little trick to do that. This will also apply on the outputs of the ESP8266.

Can you please share your 'little trick'?
