Are Arduino User Groups still a thing?

Hello,

I applied for the approval of an arduino user group (AUG) in my country in March 2024. I got an acceptance email but nothing else has happened. I have also since sent an email on how the process works but have received no response so far

For those with functional AUGs how did the process work?:

  1. Are AUG's still a thing?
  2. how long does it take for a new AUG to show up on the map?
  3. as a user group do we get access to free digital and physical resources?
