Are Sensor Modules Really that Cheap? 37 for $69

I'm fairly new to Arduino, and was just starting to begin learning(playing?) around it.
I was looking for a Arduino Starter Kit on Amazon and came across this Sensor Kit.

Are Arduino Sensor Modules really that cheap? COULD it be that cheap?
It's like 2 bucks for one of them. o.0

Any help is appreciated.

Yes they could be and are that cheap. Sadly enough there is no mention of a book or directions on using the materials in the kit.. Perhaps that's the reason for the low price.
I would recommend you read the customer reviews before purchasing the kit. The price is excellent for the materials in the box.

Thanks!
I've been pondering over this question, since the other Arduino sensors I found are in the $6~$8 range.

As for the lack of books and instructions... Aren't most same-type sensors work the same way?
Or if I could Google for some instructions(datasheets)...?

This is my first in electronics (being a high school freshman, I think I started this a little too late :P)
So as with before
Any help is appreciated (and needed :D)

The fact of life today in the amazon and ebay world is that, you can buy stuff very cheaply from CN, but you generally get ZERO, or next to ZERO, technical support. Therefore, dozens of noobees come to the forum to find out how to use those things. It's usually not very difficult to figure it out by looking at the datasheets, and if you have some general experience doing so [like Docedison's many years being an engineer, lol].

Yeah, well, I was fully aware of that.

What I was just asking is simply whether the kit that I just mentioned might be genuine or not.
Since this is my first time into electronics. :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S BTW, I was pretty sure it's noobies, not noobees. (Though that doesn't really matters since grammar and slang don't go together XD)

I'm pretty certain you'll get what's being advertised, as if not, Amazon would probably hear about it pretty quickly, and remove the people listing the items. However, that doesn't change what I told you last time.

And you will have enough stuff in your parts box to learn quite a lot.

I'm convinced now.

Yeah, I think the starter kit might be "enough" for me for the first few weeks.
No rush in buying extra sensors yet.

Either way, thanks for your help guys.
It's always warm-hearting for starters to have support from great people.

I ran across this page with several UNO and other starter kits.

Plus buying via PayPal is very safe.
