Are the four ground pins of L293D Motor Bridge interconnected?

Hi, I am now using the L293D as my motor bridge, but I am curious about whether the four ground pins are interconnected, which means I only need to connect one pin to the ground on my arduino, then the wires connected to the other wires will be treated as connecting to the ground?

For example, in the circuit, the red circled one is connect to the ground pin in Arduino and the other ground pins have ground wires from motors connected them.

Thanks!

If my memory serves me correctly, the pins are electrically connected internally, but they aren’t designed to carry current to another device. The pins are connected to the die with bonding wires, which can be thinner than a human hair. It’s best to connect all four pins together in your circuit. This also helps dissipate heat from the die.
