I have seen the opposite, I am absolutely sure I saw it on physorg.com some time back, but I have been unable to find it again. There, a wrist-band with sensors controlled an artificial hand from reading the signals off of that wristband (I'm pretty sure it involved some heavy signal processing on a nearby computer - a neural net maybe, but this is just me speculating). Anyway, it was pretty impressive, for example the operator pointed a finger, and the artificial hand did the same.
Makes one think though.. scary possibilities. (Sci-fi movies have some themes were two people are linked together, for example experiencing each others pain (or movement?)... not so far off any more?)
And also positive possibilities of course (artificial limbs replaced and controlled as the original buy the brain, etc).

But I have to say I'm a little dubious to that kind of "non-invasive" lobotomy.. what if normal synapse operation does not return somehow? Format brain anyone?

No, but thanks for trying. There was no mechanical reading of the hand (no glove), only sensors (electrodes) on a wristband. As far as I remember at least, of course I can't find the link again, and my google skills seems lacking atm.

Reminds me of the fake 3D shutter eyelids thing - but then a guy went out to prove that it wasn't possible by trying it himself but muscle manipulation by electrical signals works well enough.

I also have a video of him taking control of random peoples arms after a talk he did for some HCI conference, if anyone is interested I'll go find it and put it online.
Is there any particular reason he wears the suit in the nude? Not sure I'd want to wear it after any sort of conference unless lots of booze was served
