Hey all!
First of all i would like to say sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section or that my faults are because i'm an idiot. VERY new to all of this and have had to start learning for university. So any guidance I will be extremely grateful and I promise to buy you a beer if our paths should ever meet!

The official kit used is as follows:
- Mega 2650
- Ethernet shield based of the W5100
- Tinkerkit DMX Shield
So with it all put together and the sketch uploaded to the board (works perfectly, no issues uploading it). We then tested it by sending artnet through. This worked fine, it could discover the node, it could see the values being changed by our lighting software - So far all good!
Now comes to our issue, we can't get DMX output from the Tinkerkit shield. No matter what we do, we simply can not get any data out of it and i'm not sure how to ensure that that board is working. I think it's me being stupid and putting the boards on incorrectly with the pins! But so far googling hasn't helped much.
