I was able to see the ports in Device Manager after allowing the hidden ports to be seen. I have tried to enable "Serial" but it fails.
When I plugged in an Arduino, the computer used to beep as it was recognized, but now, nothing. I cannot see it at all or connect with it.
Which Arduino?
1, Verify your USB cable us for data. Some USB cables are for power. only.
2. Insert your Uno/data-USB into any Windows machine... no-sound might mean bad Arduino.
