ask about milling cnc mechine arduino

HI Guys
could you help me ... i made a small cnc to drill PCB ....

this tools i used :

  • power supply 12 voltdc I(current)????(but i dont know how much current i need)
  • Arduino UNO
  • arduino shield cnc V3 to place 3 axis(X-Y-Z) /4axis 12-36vdc max
  • 3 parts Pololu A4988 stepper driver max current 2A
  • 3 motors nema 17 mercury motor SM-42BYG011-25 (spec "step eagle : 1.8degree ±5%, phase 2, insulation resistence 100ohm 500 Vdc, voltage 12V, current 0.33A)

application :
arduino IDE + universal Gcode sender

The troubles
: - everything's work fine with the application but the 3 motors didnt rotate as well when i tried to supply 12Volt DC 1200mA/1.2A...
when i change supply 12 volt 2A..the pololu was getting heat...but it looks seem before i changed the power supply

im really confuse.......can you help me guyss....i am really beginner to create this one

"Too hot" is when you can't hold your finger on it for a couple seconds. Also, your Pololu drivers have overtemperature protection; they will shut down if they get too hot. Anything else is just normal hot and should be expected. Use a fan to reduce that heat.
