hello i was wondering if anyone has had experience with long range wireless video transmission. i am going to control my arduino robot with a pair of xrf wireless modules and since arduino is weak in the video depatrment, i have decided getting the camera its own transmitter. The camera i have now only has a range of 50m line of sight. i would love to get 300m+ but i don't know where to get a reasonably priced kit for this job.

Size/weight/power requirements? Environment where it will be used?
What's it for, exactly?
Probably worth finding a forum devoted to FPV, (first person view RC model flying), they
use lightweight camera-transmitters. Typical setup also records video to SDcard onboard.
The DIY drone forums probably have a lot of video stuff. If the cam doesn't have to be light weight, then security equipment vendors probably have a lot of wireless video setups.

its for a medium surveillance robot 400x350mm. for outdoor. size? it has to fit on the chassis dimensions.
I found an FPV one on hobbyking for exactly $50 range is great so its okay now.
