Asus eee install problem

Hello, I have a Asus 1000 running Xandros, and am having issues with installing the Arduino software. I found this link:

http://www.arduino.cc/playground/Linux/Xandros

But when I get to the "attach arduino" step, I get this message:

dirname: extra operand 'Documents/Arduino/arduino-1.0.1/arduino' Try 'dirname --help' for more information. Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: processing/app/Base

I followed the steps, but it seems to not like the attach command. If I try to run the ./arduino command after this fail, I get basically the same error. I took a look to see what the attach command is, but didn't get far. I don't use this Linux netbook much (utter Linux newbie), and on a lark decided to see if I could get it to work with the Arduino (which I do have working on a Windows machine). What might I be missing?

When I look under usr/bin I do not see any sort of folder for Arduino, so maybe it isn't instaling properly? I have the tar file saved under home/user/My Documents/Aruduino, and it unzipped into a "arduino-1.0.1" folder under that.

Thanks, supton
