ATMEG328p-pu and the TLC5940 working together for lots of LEDs

Hi

Need some more help. How do I get the ATMEG328p-pu chip and the TLC5940 to work together so I can run lots of led's. so do I just program the 328p and wire up the 5940 chip. I don't know how the two chips come together to make a better led pcb. Help.
