I am trying to build a platform that uses a 32u4 with USB programming. I have the chip with the 32u4 Leonardo bootloader burned on it. I have attached the schematic. It doesn't seem to be working, and my computer isn't recognizing the USB device, and there . Is there anything blatantly wrong with the schematic? Please help me, I don't really know where to go.
Besides being big and in hard to read colors? (black on white would much easier)
Is there some reason you didn't connect Vcc on the chip (pins 14, 34) or put a 10K pullup on the Reset pin?
I'm sorry, I just did a screen shot of the circuit. I didn't know it would be that big. I was looking at a reference schematic from someone else online and they left those VCC pins unconnected. They were connected to a header, so I thought it was for when you were using a voltage source as opposed to the 5v from the USB. I accidentally left out the reset switch, since it was in a different revision. I stupidly ordered a board thinking it would work. Should I jump VCC on pins 14 and 34, and solder a pullup resistor to the reset pin? Other than that, I can't see what is wrong.
I would have prototyped it, but I had trouble since it was a TQFP package.
