ATMega128 & The Arduino IDE

I want to know if the Arduino IDE would be able to program an ATMega128 including burning a bootloader.

Are there anybody who has tried to use this controller (i.e. the ATMega128) together with the Arduino IDE?

I don't know the innards but the Wiring (uses the ATMega128) board IDE might be worth trying: http://www.wiring.org.co/
