receive this message when trying to record anything on atmega1284P

no led flashes on the board this happened after making some recordings

What core are you using? (Should probably be using MCUdude's mightycore, he's done some great work, and will fix bugs in a timely manner )

Did you burn bootloader to the 1284p? You need to do that for serial uploads.

What clock source are you using? Internal 8mhz may not work with serial bootloader (or serial at all) - internal oscillator is not calibrated precisely enough to guarantee serial will work under all conditions.
