atmega1284P

Hi,

Is it possible to include the atmega1284P in the Arduino package since it comes in a 40 dip, has 128kb of flash, 4kb of EEPROM and 16kb of SRAM, 2x UART and ADC noise reduction.
This must be the ultimate 8bit micro-controller and will be great if included in Arduino as a standard supported chip.

Bootloaders have been created for this. I doubt it is going to be included as a 'standard' but you can use it yourself.

Use the search bar and you should be able to find the bootloader info for this.
