ATmega168 "P"?

Is there any real difference in the ATmega168-20PU and ATmega168P-20PU? Will either work as well in the Arduino?

The "P" version is 24 cents less than the non "P" version.

Thanks for the info.

As far as I know, the P is normally a lower power chip so I would have thought that the P version would be better...

If you look at the data sheet the P will work to a lower voltage (hence less power) if necessary.
The P will work down to 1.8V where as the ordinary type will work down to 2.7V

Thanks for the replies - that is what I was thinking from my reading of data sheets. The "P" is a newer, low power version - I expect that's why it's 24 cents cheaper, newer and more in production.

I'll order the "P" version - should work just fine in the Arduino.
