attach()

I'm attaching a motor to an arduino and I'm currently using attach() to do so. I'd like a larger range of values than 180 to get more precise results, though. Should I just put in some math to increase the difference between the values? Does that even work with Servo, do the values go above 180? Would attaching to analog pins be better? Or is there another function I can use that includes a higher range than 180 (e.g. the standard 256 or 1023), would that work?

Take a look at the writeMicroseconds function.

For finer control, use "writeMicroseconds"

Is this for more than 180 degree rotation or more resolution?

the reference on servo.attach(pin, min, max), lists the defaults for min and max as 544 and 2400, respectively.

What sort of motor is this ? Do you mean a servo or something else ?
